Advanced Engineering Resources was retained by landscape architects Weatherford McDade to perform the structural design of a variety of ornamental structures as part of a project to beautify and make the campus of Jackson State University more pedestrian friendly.

Entrance structures were placed at key campus entrances and an amphitheater structure was built for outdoor classes or performances.
